Hey guys, how are you all doing? Hope preparations for Christmas is going smoothly? Please invite me for your parties o. I want to eat plenty this Christmas season!

It's been 2 months since my last Travel/Wanderlust post and I have a brand new one for you today and its my trip to Lekki Conservation Centre (LCC).

LCC was established in 1990 by the Nigerian Conservation Foundation (NCF) and it's located in the coastal environs covering an approximate land area of 78 hectares, extending from kilometer 19 along the Lagos-Epe Expressway and ends up a very close distance to the Atlantic Ocean near Okun Ibeju Village, Eti-Osa Local Government Area in the Eastern district of Lagos State. LCC can be accessed through the Lagos-Epe Expressway. (Facts pulled from google).

The best part of LCC is hands down the canopy walk as every other thing is pretty basic and you will see that from my vlog below. But first, let's go through some basics!

BLUE PRINT

  • N2000 admits you into the building and grants you access to all the facilities available. However, you can choose not to go on the canopy walk in which case you only have to pay only N1000.
  • Take your food and drinks to the venue as the one sold at the venue is very high.
  • Keep your foods away from the monkeys. Yes, they can run away with your food and I don't think you will be fit enough to be chasing them from tree to tree.
  • No darling, it's not a zoo. So you wont see any other animal except monkeys (lots of them), tortoise and a peacock!
  • If you decide to go on the canopy walk, just enjoy it! And if you are scared of heights, just look up and straight!
  • You will definitely need water after climbing so have a bottle or more with you.
  • Wear comfortable clothing, preferable trousers (shorts).
  • You don't have to do makeup cos I'm very sure it will melt with all that walking.
  • Go with friends, the more, the merrier.
  • HAVE FUN!
